Very old, but very clean and great service. One night and two meals are very thoughtful and beautiful, taste good. Very personable family-style inn. There is an outdoor hot spring, first come first served, beautiful ~

Not bad, there are 7 outdoor hot spring pools, and the food is rich. The front desk staff are very welcoming.

One stay and two meals. The meals are really filling and sumptuous. The eldest sister in the case is really kind to the point of exaggeration.

Although the facilities were old, the staff were friendly and the food was good. The open-air hot springs are especially nice as they are buried in nature.

The room was dirty, the hot spring pool was dirty, and the beef and sashimi in the restaurant were inedible.

Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant's dinner/breakfast and the parking lot were crowded, so it was probably fully booked. I don't think it's that popular overall, but maybe it's because it looks good in travel magazines and travel sites? The hot springs were very good. I spent 5 minutes relaxing in the rustic open-air bath, scooping up the dead leaves of previous guests with a net. This would probably be a deduction for not cleaning or maintaining the place, but I don't mind since I'm not at a first-class hotel.

When I went to pay, I found out that I couldn't use my card. I didn't have 1000 yen in cash, so I went down to Kuju and decided to transfer the money from Oita Bank. I was told that it was written on the website, and that there was a way to pay in advance. It's my fault for not checking, but there was a thunderstorm the day before, and I could only do my best to arrive on time. Please be careful if you are going. I think they are doing their best to cook, but the place is not cleaned at all, and there was a washing machine in the hallway leading to the open-air bath. It's a shame because it's a nice open-air bath. One of the baths in the building was broken.
